Open Spaces - Laughing & Loving

Successful collaborations are to be continued. Therefore, Tanzfabrik Berlin opens OPEN SPACES - Laughing & Loving in radialsystem with the work »Augusto« by choreographer Alessandro Sciarroni, who was awarded the Golden Lion of the Biennale Danza Festival. Further choreographic works of the festival are dedicated to the healing strength of alternative intimacy and the stimulation of sexual intelligence. A self-confident curiosity about one’s own body and a fascination with its materiality allows deep relationships to form: not only with oneself and one’s human counterparts, but also with non-human organisms. Attachment and eroticism, love and pain, laughing and crying are physical conditions: OPEN SPACES - Laughing & Loving is about the spectrum about (not only) human relationships and affects as well as their somatic means of represen- tation. The works examine the unmeasurable possibilities of encounters, the moment that generates relationships in contact with oneself as well as with others. This allows the unforeseeable, the potential, to come into focus: this opens up the space for possibilities!
