General Terms and Conditions Tanzfabrik Berlin e.V. hereinafter referred to as Tanzfabrik Berlin BÜHNE
1. Scope of application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all services offered by Tanzfabrik Berlin BÜHNE. By using the services of Tanzfabrik Berlin BÜHNE, audience members accept the following terms and conditions in full. For the use of rehearsal spaces, the regulations for the use of rehearsal rooms also apply as part of the co-operation agreements.
2. Programme
The current programme of Tanzfabrik Berlin BÜHNE with starting times can be found in the official and current publications of Tanzfabrik Berlin BÜHNE. The programme is subject to change. The audience is obliged to inform themselves about changes in the programme or the starting times before the event.
3. Admission
Admission to an event is only possible with a valid ticket.
Only one admission authorisation exists for each ticket purchased. Any duplication, copying, modification or imitation of the print@home ticket and any electronic distribution of the corresponding PDF file is prohibited.
The ticket office usually opens one hour before the start of an event.
There is no entitlement to admission or re-admission after the start of the event. For events with late admission, there is no entitlement to the booked seat. If the spectators are not granted admission due to a delay, they must pay the admission fee.
4. Ticket sales
Tickets are sold exclusively via the online portal pretix (the pretix terms and conditions apply here) and via the box office. Reservations are not possible.
Purchased tickets may not be resold commercially or at a price other than the original price without the prior consent of Tanzfabrik Berlin BÜHNE. Furthermore, Tanzfabrik Berlin BÜHNE is authorised to exclude those responsible who violate the above prohibition from purchasing tickets.
5. Return of tickets
Purchased tickets will neither be taken back nor exchanged. In the event of late arrival or non-appearance at the start of the performance, there is no entitlement to a refund of the purchase price of tickets that have not been used and have therefore expired.
6. Change to the programme
We reserve the right to make changes to the programme. Tanzfabrik Berlin BÜHNE reserves the right to cancel a performance or replace it with another piece, as well as to change the date and starting time of a performance, even after advance sales have begun.
In such cases, the audience member is entitled to a refund of the purchase price if they have not attended the performance. This claim expires if it is not asserted within 10 days. This period begins on the day on which the performance should have taken place according to the programme valid when the ticket was purchased.
Tanzfabrik Berlin BÜHNE also reserves the right to change the cast of a performance. In such cases, there is no entitlement to a refund of the purchase price.
7. Children and young people
Children may only enter the Tanzfabrik Berlin BÜHNE venues when accompanied by an adult and may not be handed over to the evening staff for supervision. We recommend events for children that are labelled ‘Family Friendly’. Information on this can be found on our website under the menu Accessibility.
8. Lost property
Items of any kind found in the venues of Tanzfabrik Berlin BÜHNE must be handed in to staff members. Lost property will be deposited in the Tanzfabrik Berlin BÜHNE office.
9. House rules
Every spectator must behave in such a way that no other person is endangered, hindered, harmed, threatened or harassed. Awareness guidelines are available in our venues to help with orientation. At some events, we deploy awareness persons who can be approached at any time. Audience members also have the option of anonymously reporting to our internal point of contact Moving Structures at movingstructures@tanzfabrik-berlin.de in the event of incidents of discrimination. The instructions of staff members must be followed at all times. In the event of non-compliance, you may be banned from the premises. Smoking is prohibited in all rooms of Tanzfabrik Berlin BÜHNE. Escape routes and emergency exits must be kept clear at all times.
10. Domiciliary rights
The general management of Tanzfabrik Berlin BÜHNE is responsible for domiciliary rights. It may exercise its domiciliary rights through employees and authorised representatives - in particular through the evening staff. Spectators may be denied access to the venues if there is reason to believe that they are disrupting the events or disturbing other visitors. Spectators may be ejected from the event in progress if they disrupt it, cause a nuisance to others or have taken a seat for which they do not have a valid ticket. Persons who are obviously drunk or otherwise under the influence of addictive substances may be refused entry. Access may also be denied to spectators who have violated these house rules. These spectators are not entitled to a refund of the admission fee already paid or to any other compensation or reimbursement of expenses
11. Image and sound recordings
Image and sound recordings are not permitted at Tanzfabrik Berlin BÜHNE for copyright and personal rights reasons. Infringements may result in claims for damages. Tanzfabrik Berlin BÜHNE staff are authorised to confiscate recording devices without liability, retain them until the end of the performance and only hand them back to audience members once they have agreed to the immediate deletion of the recordings. These spectators may be excluded from the performance. In this case too, the purchase price will not be refunded.
In the event that image and/or sound recordings are made by persons authorised by Tanzfabrik Berlin e.V. during events, the audience members agree that they may be recorded in image and word and that these recordings may be published, broadcast and reproduced in analogue or digital form for an unlimited period of time and space without any claim to remuneration. If a person does not wish to be depicted, this must be indicated to the person taking the photograph or filming before the recording is made. In this case, photos and video recordings in which the person in question is depicted will not be published.
