Season 2024/25 – Opening Weekend

From September 11-15, we will open the new season in the Tanzfabrik BÜHNE with a festive weekend in the Uferstudios and in our new additional location: the Grüntaler 9 shop. In Uferstudio 14, Grupo Oito invites the audience with the world premiere of «CARNE»to experience the Brazilian art movement of Anthropophagy, placing a finger on the bite marks that dominant power relations have left on our bodies and relationships. The durational performance «DOPA»by and with Annelise Le Gac and Anat Bosak hacks the system entrusted to them and generates itself from the infrastructure of the shop they have occupied in Grüntaler 9. Mapped energy sources, listed restrictions, calculated watts, and collected, once hidden stories: unexpected sensual experiences await the audience. «Oblio»by Muna Mussie then shows a temporary anti-monument of historical and private memory gaps. This performance installation is created by a selected community of the urban societyover several days, who - on the day of the presentation - together create an embroidered wall space of memory.
