Born in Italy, Melissa is currently based in Berlin and works internationally as a performer, dance educator and creative. Current and former collaborations include Anouk Van Dijk, Falk Richter, Laurence Yadi, Nicolas Cantillon and Akram Khan, amongst others.  In 2013 Melissa joined the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet and eventually started a long-term collaboration with the Aakash Odedra Company whilst engaging with several other multi-disciplinary creative partnerships.  Melissa shares her movement research and practice through international workshops directed both to dance professionals and non-professionals, with a strong focus on the research for authenticity, moving away from unhealthy dynamics deriving from product and goal-oriented approaches.
