Mor Demer is a Berlin-based choreographer, dancer and researcher. Residing at the crossroads between the profane and sacred, her artistic research seeks to write a "new" present through choreographic means; evoking states of high exposure, friction, poetry and precision. Through her use of experimental and esoteric fields of knowledge, she pushes dance beyond its domain to evolve into cartographies of scientific, artistic, spiritual, and social practice. Mor holds an MA in Choreography from ICI-CCN Montpellier (FR) and has collaborated with prominent artists such as Sigal Zouk, Anna Nowicka, Benjamin van Bebber, Tino Sehgal, Peter Pleyer (Cranky Bodies: a/company) and Meg Stuart/Damaged Goods. She was awarded the Tanzpraxis Scholarship 2022-2023 by the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Europe.
