Natascha Noack is a researcher at the intersections of movement, language, film and music. she studied dance and movement in Berlin, Bielefeld (dansart) and Paris before deepening her knowledge of the traditional art forms in Guinee, Mali, Senegal and Burkina Faso. after training in different somatic practices and rhythm languages she developed her unique (non)method of an individualized investigation of movement concepts. besides working as a performer, choreographer, dance and rhythm teacher throughout Europe, she translates films and performance theory, conceptualizes and offers site specific and topic related somatic movement sessions in a number of contexts and appears as a voice-over artist. she is also a film curator and a member of the selection committee of generation, a section of the Berlinale international film festival.
