Each day we warm up with developmental movement patterns and states which lead into solo movement investigations. Next, we explore a specific body system through hands-on and partnering work. Focuses include the architecture of the bones, the 3D support of the organs, the kinetic qualities of the fluids, the specificity of the nerves and how the “mind” of each system expresses through our dancing. This research forms the ground for ensemble improvisational scores in which we cultivate our curiosity, attention and imagination to expand the boundaries of our dance practices.
