The teaching of choreographer and pedagogue Elsa Wolliaston is informed by many decades of research into different cultures. She has developed a distinct personal style, in which African Dance is the language to express personality and creativity. It is deeply concerned with improvisation, the sensing of anatomy and rhythms within the body and the interaction between music and dance.
Accessibility noticeThe workshop will be held in spoken English, with translation into French if necessary. Connection with your own body, creativity and interaction between dance and music play an essential role.
