In the frame of Fold – Into The City
«Erdlinge» is an amalgamation of dances and reflections, performed entirely outdoors, on being an earthling - an “Erdling”. The dance piece attempts to reframe the human relationship to the non-human in the immediate environment.
«Erdlinge» seeks new ways to relate to the ecosystem. It works on the premise that the city and nature are not conflicting spaces, but equal parts of a larger whole, the ecosystem. Urban space is, then, also natural space, which of course includes non-human inhabitants of the earth such as plants.
«Erdlinge» explores human and non-human activity in a shared environment. Taking place outside the conventional theater space, the "unplugged" outdoor performance uses daylight instead of spotlights and dispenses with speakers and stage props to adopt a more sustainable performance practice.

Akseli Aittomäki, massavuoto – massescape
massavuoto – massescape is a series of artistic works by Akseli Aittomäki and collaborators. Akseli is a dance artist, experimental theatre maker, climate activist and bicycle courier. He is a long-time member of experimental art group Höyhentämö in Helsinki, Finland. Since 2015, he has lived and worked mainly in Berlin. Akseli’s favourite activities include dancing in a shared studio in Britz, loitering in half-abandoned spots in Berlin and participating in the fight against fossil-fuel capitalism.

Grėtė Šmitaitė is a dancer and choreographer working and living between Berlin and Kaunas, Lithuania. She studied at HZT Berlin and has worked with choreographers such as Anna Aristarkhova, Doris Uhlich, Min Tanaka. Since 2014 she has been a practitioner of the Body Weather technique. During the last years Grėtė has been researching change and relations. She created solo works “5th of June, 2020” and “Cracks”, approaching the body as a participant of its constantly changing environment.

Jenny Döll, freelance dancer and dance mediator. Her work is rooted in postmodern dance and makes use of diverse methods of somatics. She often collaborates with musicians from Berlin's "Echtzeit"-music scene. Collaborations in recent years include: Andrew Wass, Ute Wassermann, Elo Masing, María Ferrara, Jenny Ocampo. Her current research is an exploration of neurodiversity in dance.
Yuko Matsuyama is a freelance performing artist(vocal&dance). Started her career as a musical and revue artist. The last three decades she performed numerous productions. Since 2010 she is residence artist in Haus Schwarzenberg in Berlin Mitte. She organises Live performances as an experimental platform and rendezvous to explore the interface between dance and music. In addition to her own artistic work, she offers workshops, teaches Pilates-based training, and enjoys singing Hawaiian music. www.yuhki.de
