Dancer, choreographer and dance lecturer Jean-Hugues Assohoto connects Limón technique with the contemporary influence of Release-based floorwork and elements of traditional African Dance, with choreographies full of sensation, imagination, musicality and changing dynamics. In his teaching and choreographies Jean-Hugues focuses on intuition and musicality from within as a source of personal expression, as well as individual scope for decision-making within the set choreographies.
