In the frame of Open Spaces#3-2018
»The Twofold Paradox« plays with the boundaries between perception, memory and imagination and attempts to manipulate the audience’s perspective. In a timeless, fictional space consisting of two identically furnished rooms, suggestive fragments of movement, light and sound form clues for chains of associations. In her new performance, Mexican choreographer Ixchel Mendoza Hernández creates a series of mysterious situations that confront the viewers with their innermost desires and personal perceptions.
In a collage arranged from uncertain proposals, meaning and logic are never given.
