"Time to Meet" is a series of open rehearsals and discussions, a meeting place for exchange and feedback on artistic processes, this time with the artist Raquel André.
Raquel collects collectors that she meets in the cities where she passes by.
Raquel collects the collectors themselves. She asks them to tell her a secret: she asks them to tell her what is like to be a collector. She also asks them to let her collect them.
We collect what escape from our hands. What memory does an object carries in itself?
In Collector’s Collection, we collect the other and we keep what is not to keep. Thru an interview to each collector from a different city they talk about memory…
After all what do we keep to ourselves?
This play acts as a window to show her collection of collectors.
Until this moment the collection has 13 collectors (until Dez. 2016) from Paredes de Coura, Valença, Vila Nova de Cerveira, Monção and Melgaço (PT).
This work is part of her's project Collection of People: Collection of Lovers, Collection of Collectors, Collection of Artists and Collection of Spectators.
