In the frame of Open Spaces#1-2017
I’m yours, object. Stillness holds my gaze.
Oh call for, desire. Loose ends are yet to come.
Eight interdisciplinary artists and theorists meet in a workspace they have created themselves in order to negotiate contemporary positions concerning the hybridization of living environments over the course of a week. How much attention can our gaze withstand? Does deviation blind one? Is data part of a relationship, a sense of order or simply another form of artificial respiration? The laboratory is an archived prospect, a cabinet of curiosity. The P-Bodies festival for contemporary dance and performance in Leipzig, together with Tanzfabrik, invites you to attend the last day of the experiment to view something left behind, incomplete and unrealized.
Concept: David Eckelmann, Anelja Kasenow, Josefine Mühle | Researcher: Rosemarie Eberl, Jule Flierl, Rainer Görß, Josephine Mühle, Jochen Roller, Ania Rudolph, Stefan Weihrauch, Britta Wirthmüller and guests. A project of P-Bodies Festival in collaboration with Tanzfabrik Berlin.
