How do you react when seeing a dancer dance? What part of you is present there? Do you observe with a judgmental or comparing mind? Are you able to stay open and let yourself be moved by what you see in front of you? This double vision is the art of the witness - to be discovered in creative ways in this workshop. We will develop dances from the dialogue between seeing and being seen. These dances will mirror the common and different ways in which the relationship between dancers and witnesses are experienced. We are working with the Discipline of Authentic Movement and the choreographic principles of the Halprin RSVP Cycles.
