“Open matters“ is an interactive performance that invites the audience to enter the experience of some materials of the dance intensive collective dance piece Collective matter. It is an open space where the performers become the matters to be manipulated, moved, shaped, for the visitor to make their own sculptures or dances with. The audience become the artist, time and space is shared and everyone is the creator of an instant exhibition/choreography.
Could we surrender our bodies to only be a matter and not lose ourselves ? In this performance the visitor is given the artistic responsibility and gets an opportunity to explore human material, make moving sculptures with organic and emotional dimensions. The performer is engaged in an open and vulnerable space, physical, passive and present.
