COWBODY / Oh wow it's you!

Performance · Deutschlandpremiere by Hanna Kritten Tangsoo, Sigrid Savi
In the frame of Fold – Fragile Welten

Tickets
A very daily routine of believing in a moment where everything will be just fine. Belief that is somehow holding everything loosely together. You are a subject to forces you cannot understand that drive you apart. You are a real person. Don't worry. The oxygen is flowing. So now you can finally let yourself go, can't you?

«COWBODY/ Oh wow, it's you!» engages with shifting focus from extraordinary to the habitual. Bringing together expectations and outcomes, it smoothes into a world where intimacy is exercised from a distance and sometimes only half a sentence is just enough. Sigrid Savi and Hanna Kritten Tangsoo invite the audience to witness a hotpot of dance, sculpture, music and fitness trampolines where in a form of self-defense two bodies enjoy finding the struggle, or struggle to find joy.

Accessibility & Content Notes (Triggerwarnings)
The performance lasts 60 minutes and takes place in Studio 1. Text in English is used in parts. There will be moments of darkness and intermittent, dynamic spotlighting in the audience (no strobe lighting).

A limited number of beanbags are available for visitors* with physical disabilities. These can be reserved at ticket@tanzfabrik-berlin.de.

Studio 1 has a 1.5 m lowered area, accessible only by 7 steps. Thus, the studio is not barrier-free on the lower area. Access to the upper part of the studio is possible without steps. The studio has two wheelchair places. The accessible toilet is located in front of Studio 3.

For more information on accessibility, please visit the Uferstudios website: https://www.uferstudios.com/de/barrierefreiheit.

11.11.  17:00  Family Friendly Environment
In the afternoon performances marked «Family Friendly Environment - All families welcome», parents and caregivers are warmly welcome together with their children. Although the performances are not specifically designed for young audiences, we aim to create a family-friendly environment, both outside and inside the studio. For example, we understand when children cannot sit still all the time and families want to leave the performance in between or earlier. Unfortunately, we are not yet able to offer childcare. Admission is free for all accompanied children up to and including the age of 12.
