Katrina is passionate about facilitating open and affirming spaces of physical inquiry and deepening awareness of sustainable movement patterns. As an endurance athlete, Katrina loves to investigate optimal movement patterns, recovery, and endurance! Her classes will engage strength, balance, and flexibility while valuing consent, safety, and inclusion. At the core of Katrina’s class is the concept of curiosity- encouraging an almost child-like curiosity for the inner/outer dialogue triggered by the movement practice. She facilitates class in an open, affirming, and trauma-sensitive manner. Katrina teaches anything from Vinyasa flow, Hatha, and Pilates, to restorative yin practice. Each yoga class is infused with an element of yogic philosophy, intentions, or poem (most often by Mary Oliver...I love her!). We end each yoga class by acknowledging the rich cultural context that allows us to access yoga here in Germany.
