Ilan Gratini is a performer, choreographer, plastic artist, teacher and currently lives in Lyon. His first experiences with movement were in hip-hop culture and the circus. After studying at the Conservatory of Dance & Music, he graduated from the intensive programme, Performact, in 2018. He studied and worked with Alexandre Lesouef, Ted Stoffer, Jos Baker, Inaki Azpillaga and Rob Hayden, as well as artists from other disciplines such as Stephan Guiran, Pauline Guerrier in " la Junqueira '' and the Canadian collective "Troisix sysis" to explore a multi-layered creative process. Ilan has performed in the works of Companhia Instavel, Marion Sparber, Didier Theron, Kiai Cie. In 2019 he co-founded the collective "ANOESIS", a laboratory for choreographic and poetic research. He is also involved in a plastic research on making and wearing theatre masks. Since 2019, Ilan has been developing his choreographic and pedagogical methods, teaching and creating for "Do Festival" (Poland), "Performact school" and Studio Cie Herideaux (France), among others.
