In the frame of The Last Open Spaces?
On Thursday, February 24, 2022, Russia attacked Ukraine.
Our thoughts are with all Ukrainians, with the artists and our colleagues from Ukraine.
Here in Berlin, Germany we continue our lives and normal activities but it is important to acknowledge that this situation is everything but normal. It is a brutal act of war against a democratic country, committed by an authoritarian regime. In Europe.
We want to invite the audience and the Berlin dance scene to come together and share their thoughts, their feelings of impotence, their fears, their grief or anger. A common reflection through literary texts and poetry.
A moment to resist together, in a dark time.
