Motion and Emotion

Kurs with Britta Pudelko

Intuitive Improvisation

In a dance improvisation, we are confronted with an almost endless amount of possibilities. How do I want to move? How do I move in the space? How do I react and interact with the other dancers? Does the music influence me or inspire me? Improvisation means to make decisions. To be in the moment. To be able to respond to influences from the outside as well as the inside. Improvisation means to communicate with the given situation, the space, the music and the other dancers. Therefore you need to gain a sense of your body, to feel into it, to give it space. To connect with yourself, the space and the other participants – on a visual, tactile, acoustic, kinesthetic level. The aim of this course is to develop a deeper level of understanding for your own body, and to allow and develop your own individual language and natural creativity through movement.
