Unlimited language is a performance project which focuses on each Individual’s improvement and aims for each participant to discover its personal potential. It is based on continues research for new dance moves and new physical patterns. Most important purpose of the unlimited language, is for the participants to develop both the physical stamina and the psychological motivation to train and insist on dance tasks. During the practice, we will use improvisation and fixed material which will be shared in between the group. Participants will be challenged on being mainly a teacher for themselves and at the same time a teacher for the whole group. Directed improvisation will be used as the main way
of individual training and as the group’s creating tool. We will use specific technical Improvisation tasks which will be repeated during the whole week. Each day will as well include creative tasks for both individual and group work and fixed choreographed material taught by me or by the rest of the participants. The final result is always related to, and inspired by each specific group. The main focus for me is to create and present meanings which will be popping out while we meet each other, communicate and interact as social beings inside the studio. Achieving the understanding in between the group, will bring the story we want to tell at the end of the process, using dance as our common international language.
