This beginners class focusses on introducing the basic principles of classical ballet. The course starts with clear and simple barre excersises followed by more complexe phrases through the space in which the dynamic and coordination of the body will be trained.

After his Ballet School (Royal Academy of Dance, Oxford; London Contemporary Dance School; scholarship for the English National Ballet School) Matthew followed the English National Ballet - Company, until he worked for Dance Berlin, David Nixon, Susan Quin and Deutschen Oper. Finally he joined the Scapino Ballet.
Matthew has got the authority to teach looseness and musicality beside his taut and concentrated training.. He´s using a combination of classical and modern music for teaching classical technique. He teaches solid technique for all levels.
