Fluid Spaces Research Sharing

Online Sharing by Otto Ramstad, Olive Bieringa

This event will be a mid-process informal research sharing with the Fluid Spaces Research cohort facilitated by Olive Bieringa and Otto Ramstad. The Fluid Spaces Research takes place in part within the framework of the Tanzfabrik project Criss-Crossing Encounters, that explores new ways to meet with and through dance. It started with two online workshop intensives in February and March 2021 and continued into a series of site based investigations to expand the choreographic research with an international community. Together, they are researching how embodied embryological knowledge can grow a dance that transforms the way performers and audience alike, experience our bodies/selve/environment.
On Friday night, they will share an example of how we are working. Guests can join as movers or witness in the zoom room. There will be time to discuss how and why they are pursuing this research.
